He has to his name, the first successful Robotic Assisted Unicompartmental Knee Replacement surgery in India, first Robotic Assisted Total Knee Replacement in the world outside the USA, and surgeries of all four major joints of the human body.
He also invented a two-wheeler Rapid Rescue Unit as well as a mobile four-wheeler Trauma & Critical Care Unit to reach trauma victims and has been instrumental in initiating the ‘Golden Hour Project’ way back in 1996 and pioneering a Comprehensive Emergency Medical System for the first time in India, saving the lives of 3,00,000+ trauma victims till date through pre-hospital trauma care.
